How to remove uk.Woofi.info virus. Fix search hijack

The woofi.info virus is known to be a browser hijacker which can alter default settings of Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet explorer, Opera and Safari. Once it hits your machine, you,ll see the Woofi.info Search engine appears on your system when you browse through Google.com search. Also opening homepage will lead you to http://uk.woofi.info or http://es.woofi.info or similar websites because that site has been added as your startpage. These changes are usually made in a background process and the system user is completely unaware of it. Anyhow, as soon as your search results and web links start redirecting to www.woofi.info, you should take step to remove this malware before it violates your privacy and steals your personal information.

 How to uninstall Woofi.info
Remove toolbars, plugins, extensions, add-ons
Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox users:
Go to TOOLS and then click MANAGE ADD-ON, From there, select Extensions, Toolbars and remove the Woofi.info if found. Make sure Google is set as default search Provider.
Google Chrome Users:
Click SETTINGS icon and select SETTINGS, then open Extensions, toolbar, search provider options, remove the Woofi.info if listed there. Make sure Google is set as default search Provider.
Uninstall from Control Panel
Open CONTROL PANEL, then ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS or “Programs and Features”, now lookup for Woofi.info and uninstall if it is listed.
How to delete Woofi.info manually:

Delete files:
Open then following folders or search for Woofi.info in My Computer and delete if found files associated with this bug.
